Comparison review

The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than LG V40 ThinQ's general score of 81.2. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a way thicker and way heavier phone than LG V40 ThinQ. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a more vivid screen than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a higher pixel density.

LG V40 ThinQ counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG V40 ThinQ and Xperia XZ2 Premium have really similar CPUs, they have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium captures clearer photographs and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a back camera with lot more mega-pixels and a bigger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.

Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit longer battery life than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity.

Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG V40 ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG V40 ThinQ. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the LG V40 ThinQ, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
