Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo's global score of 78.8. Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is much older and extremely thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo, it's construction is still a little bit lighter. The Microsoft Surface Duo's CPU is just as good as Xperia XZ2 Premium's CPU, they have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixel density and a better resolution of 2160 x 3840. The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better images in low-light situations and a way more MP back-facing camera.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better memory to install games and applications than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. Microsoft Surface Duo features a battery life that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, although the Microsoft Surface Duo also has a 3577mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Microsoft Surface Duo. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and get the Microsoft Surface Duo, giving up some features and specifications.
