The Motorola edge is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, with an 89.6 score against 82.2. The Motorola edge body is newer, much lighter and incredibly thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lot better screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot higher number of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better processing power than Motorola edge. Both have 6 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core processor. Motorola edge has much more storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Motorola edge counts with better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh. Motorola edge features a superior camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola edge also has a camera with a much better 64 mega pixels resolution and a way bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
Even being the best phone in our comparison, the Motorola edge is also a lot cheaper, making it a great choice.
