Comparison review

The Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Motorola Edge (2024), getting a global score of 82.2 against 78.5. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, the Xperia XZ2 Premium design is way older, noticeably thicker and noticeably heavier than Motorola Edge (2024). Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a sharper screen than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has much worse brightness and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher screen density and a way better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution.

Motorola Edge (2024) features a greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a very superior performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 41 percent greater battery capacity. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little bit better camera than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor providing a much worse image quality, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a much less mega-pixels resolution camera, they both have the same aperture.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola Edge (2024), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Motorola Edge (2024). If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Motorola Edge (2024), giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
