The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Motorola Moto G8 Plus's 77.6 score. Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, way heavier and way thicker device than Motorola Moto G8 Plus. Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

Xperia XZ2 Premium features an incredibly better looking screen than Moto G8 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater pixel density and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. Moto G8 Plus shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Moto G8 Plus also has a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography, a camera in the back with a much higher 48 megapixels resolution and a larger sensor.

The Moto G8 Plus features just a bit more memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Moto G8 Plus also has a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB. Moto G8 Plus has just a bit better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13% more battery size.
