The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Motorola One Zoom's score of 80. Even being the best we are comparing here, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium construction is older, somewhat heavier and a lot thicker than Motorola One Zoom. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better CPU than Motorola One Zoom, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much sharper screen than Motorola One Zoom, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher quantity of pixels per display inch and a lot better 2160 x 3840px resolution. Motorola One Zoom shoots better photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola One Zoom also has a larger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality photographs, a bigger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited situations and a way more megapixels back facing camera.

Motorola One Zoom counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has an external SD slot that supports 272 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory. The Motorola One Zoom features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3540mAh.

Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Motorola One Zoom, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola One Zoom. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Motorola One Zoom, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
