Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is slightly better than OnePlus 7T Pro's 75.8 global score. Despite being the best in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also an older, much thicker and somewhat heavier phone. The OnePlus 7T Pro has just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a brighter display than OnePlus 7T Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel number in each screen inch and a better resolution of 2160 x 3840px. OnePlus 7T Pro counts with a superior camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video quality, the OnePlus 7T Pro also has a larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos, better 60 frames per second video frame rates, a camera with way more megapixels and a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos.
OnePlus 7T Pro counts with a greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. The OnePlus 7T Pro counts with a bit superior battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4085mAh battery capacity against 3540mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 7T Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as OnePlus 7T Pro. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the OnePlus 7T Pro, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
