Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is a bit better than OnePlus 9's 76 overall score. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, it must be noted that it is also way older, much thicker and somewhat heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking screen than OnePlus 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 2160 x 3840px resolution and a way greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen.
OnePlus 9's CPU is very similar to Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium's processing unit, and although the OnePlus 9 has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. OnePlus 9 features a way better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a same size aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a camera in the back with much more megapixels, a much higher video quality and a way bigger back camera sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 9, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The OnePlus 9 counts with improved battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3540mAh.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium costs a lot more than OnePlus 9, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
