Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Galaxy A31, with an 82.2 score against 81.3. Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better cellphone than the Galaxy A31, we must tell that it is also older, a lot heavier and thicker. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A31, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a lot higher screen pixel density. Galaxy A31 has just a bit bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A31 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A31 counts with a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy A31 has a slightly better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for capturing photographs or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a bigger camera sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a camera with lot more MP.
