Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a general score of 82.2, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)'s 75.8 overall score. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is newer than the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), it is a lot heavier and way thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a lot better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840, a little larger screen and a way higher number of pixels per inch of display.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little better processing power than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A7 (2017), because it has a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a larger aperture and a back camera with a higher resolution. Galaxy A7 (2017) has just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 2% greater battery size.
