Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 3's 81.2 general score. Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer cellphone than the Galaxy Note 3, although it is incredibly thicker and way heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a much higher 2160 x 3840 resolution, a quite larger screen and a much better display density.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a greater storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of faster cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 3540mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a way bigger camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and pictures, a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light captures and video and a camera with a way higher resolution.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 3. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
