Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, getting an 82.2 score against 81.6. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably newer cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, although it's heavier and thicker. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 4, because it has a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels, a higher screen pixels density and a little bit bigger display.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a very superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger back camera sensor providing a better image quality, a larger aperture and a higher 19 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a little bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 10% bigger battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note 4. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note 4, giving up a couple specifications.
