Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, with a general score of 82.2 against 80.4. Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer phone than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it's extremely heavier and notably thicker. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a lot better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution, a higher number of pixels per inch of screen and a bit larger display. The Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with a way higher 19 megapixels resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has an 11% greater battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
