Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Galaxy S5, with a overall score of 82.2 against 80.8. Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is noticeably newer, but incredibly heavier and notably thicker than Galaxy S5. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy S5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little sharper display than Galaxy S5, because it has a better screen pixel density, a little bit larger display and a lot better 2160 x 3840px resolution. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better camera than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better images and videos in poorly lited situations, a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality photos and a back facing camera with a higher 19 mega pixels resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 26% larger battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S5. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy S5, letting go some specifications.
