Comparison review
Galaxy S9 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting an 83.3 score against 82.2. Although Galaxy S9 and Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium were released only 5 months apart, Galaxy S9 is notably lighter and much thinner. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a brighter display than Galaxy S9, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more pixels per inch of display and a higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for capturing photos or video in low-light environments and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a larger camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a much more megapixels back camera.
Galaxy S9 and Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium both count with really similar storage for apps and games, they have an external memory card slot that supports up to 400 GB and equal internal memory capacity.
