Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, having an 82.2 score against 80.1. Even though Xperia XZ2 Premium is older than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, it's construction is thinner and just a little bit lighter. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little bit better performance than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better display than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because it has a bit bigger display, a better amount of pixels per inch of screen and a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a very superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and/or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a way more MP camera, a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photographs and a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro features improved battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is also a bit cheaper.
