Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is slightly better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, getting an 88.5 score against 82.2. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip design is newer, a lot thinner and lighter than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium. Galaxy Z Flip features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better pixel quantity per inch in the screen and a much better 2160 x 3840 resolution. The Galaxy Z Flip counts with more storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has a 3540mAh battery size. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit better camera than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a same size camera aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger back camera sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip costs more money than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
