The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 score. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a newer device than the Xperia Z5 Premium, but it's notably thicker and a lot heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with 3 GB more RAM.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a bit better pixel density. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has much more memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a little bit better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same aperture, the same (4K) video quality, a same size camera sensor and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a more mega-pixels camera in the back.
