Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's 82.2 score. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body is thinner and notably lighter than Xperia XZ2 Premium, although both were released with only 2 months difference. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much sharper display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 2160 x 3840px resolution, more brightness and much more pixels per display inch.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a quite bigger memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi 8's CPU is very similar to the processing unit in Xperia XZ2 Premium, both of them have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
