Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max's global score of 77.5. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably newer cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Max, but it's extremely thicker and somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.
Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher display pixel density and a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a more mega pixels back camera and a bigger aperture.
Xiaomi Mi Max features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Max has a really longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.
