Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, getting an 82.2 score against 76.2. Xperia XZ2 Premium's body is newer than the Xiaomi Mi MIX's, but it's noticeably thicker and somewhat heavier. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a way better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with way more brightness, a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi MIX, because it has more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX counts with longer battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4400mAh battery size instead of 3540mAh. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger diafragm aperture, a higher resolution back camera and a much bigger sensor shooting lot better quality videos and photographs.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi MIX, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi MIX. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX, giving up a couple features and specifications.
