Xperia XZ2 Premium has a score of 82.2, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's global score of 81.2. Xperia XZ2 Premium's body is newer, but extremely thicker and extremely heavier than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better looking display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840px and way more pixels per inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and 8 cpu cores.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a 3540mAh battery size. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger aperture for better low-light captures and video, a lot better 19 MP resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger back camera sensor.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. If you want to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
