Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2's score of 76. Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is newer, but a lot thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater number of cores.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much more vibrant display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a way higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels, a way greater pixel amount per inch in the display and a quite larger screen. Xperia XZ2 Premium features more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4070mAh battery size. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a worse 19 megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low light photography and video and a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
