Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an overall score of 82.2, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M3's 78.2 global score. Even being the best we are comparing here, it must be noted that it is also incredibly older, somewhat heavier and thicker. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater count of pixels per screen inch and a lot better 2160 x 3840px resolution. Xiaomi Poco M3 has just a bit bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Poco M3 features a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 6000mAh battery size. Xiaomi Poco M3 features a little bit better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a F1.8 aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a lot higher resolution back camera and a larger sensor providing a higher image quality.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Poco M3. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Xiaomi Poco M3, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
