Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T, having a global score of 82.2 against 78.2. Although it's the best in this review, the Xperia XZ2 Premium is a noticeably older, thicker and somewhat heavier device than the Xiaomi Redmi 9T. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a way better screen than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a lot higher quantity of pixels per display inch.
Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features just a bit bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 69% more battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi 9T captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
