Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having a general score of 82.2 against 81.1. The Xperia XZ2 Premium body is older, notably thicker and somewhat heavier than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an incredibly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a lot higher display pixel density.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit more powerful processor than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with just a bit bigger memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing images and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a much more megapixels back camera and a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a very superior battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up some specifications.
