Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having a general score of 82.2 against 79. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, noticeably thicker and heavier device than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840px resolution and a much higher display density.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little bit more memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a bit better processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a way better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting better quality pictures and videos and a much more megapixels camera.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, letting go a couple features and specifications.
