Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZs has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play's 76.3 score. Even though the Sony Xperia XZs is better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, we must note that it's also older, just a bit heavier and thicker. Sony Xperia XZs features a bit more powerful processor than Moto Z3 Play, although it has less cores , they both have the same RAM amount.
The Sony Xperia XZs counts with a bit more vivid display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Moto Z3 Play features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZs, because it has 32 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Xperia XZs captures a lot better photographs and videos than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZs also counts with a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality videos and photos, a much better resolution camera in the back and better video frame rate.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play has just a bit longer battery life than Xperia XZs, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZs is a better device, it is more expensive than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Motorola Moto Z3 Play. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia XZs, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, letting go a couple specifications.
