Comparison review
The Galaxy Note8 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XZs, getting a score of 83 against 77.2. Despite being the best we compare here, the Galaxy Note8 construction is a little bit thicker and heavier than Sony Xperia XZs. Galaxy Note8 features a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit sharper screen than Xperia XZs, because it has a much better 1440 x 2960px resolution, a bigger screen and a just a bit greater pixel number in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy Note8 has a much bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XZs, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB, the Galaxy Note8 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Xperia XZs shoots greater videos and photos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZs also counts with a larger camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality, higher video frame rate and a camera in the back with a way higher 19 MP resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a little longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
