The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than Xperia XZs's 77.2 general score. Samsung Galaxy S5's design has the same thickness than the Xperia XZs, but it is somewhat lighter. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a brighter display than Xperia XZs, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with a higher screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia XZs, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Sony Xperia XZs takes a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia XZs also has a bigger camera aperture for better low-light photography and video, a better resolution camera in the back, a bigger camera sensor and better 960 fps video frame rates.
