Sony Xperia XZs has a score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy S7 Active's general score of 75.8. The Sony Xperia XZs construction is newer, thinner and lighter than Galaxy S7 Active. Sony Xperia XZs features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy S7 Active. They have a Quad-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM memory.
Galaxy S7 Active features a much better screen than Xperia XZs, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better number of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. The Xperia XZs has a slightly better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZs also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy S7 Active counts with a superior battery duration than Xperia XZs, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh. Xperia XZs shoots much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZs also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution and faster video frame rates.
Although Sony Xperia XZs is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZs, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S7 Active, giving up a couple specifications.
