Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is a bit better than Xperia XZs, getting a global score of 81.7 against 77.2. Even when Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Xperia XZs were released with only 1 months difference, Samsung Galaxy S8 is just a bit lighter and a bit thinner. Galaxy S8 has a bit faster CPU than Xperia XZs, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S8 also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster).
Galaxy S8 has a bit more vivid screen than Xperia XZs, because it has a much better 1440 x 2960px resolution, a little bit larger display and a higher count of pixels per inch of display. Sony Xperia XZs features a very superior camera than Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZs also counts with a way more MP back-facing camera, a larger sensor taking higher quality photographs and videos and better video frame rates.
Galaxy S8 features much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZs, and although they both have an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB, the Galaxy S8 also has more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy S8 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Xperia XZs, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity.
