Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro is a bit better than Sony Xperia XZs, getting a 78.7 score against 77.2. The Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro body is noticeably newer than Sony Xperia XZs's, but it's way heavier and somewhat thicker. The Xperia XZs counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little greater number of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Sony Xperia XZs counts with a lot better performance than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a lower number of cores and 4 GB lesser RAM memory. The Sony Xperia XZs has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition, a back facing camera with a way worse resolution and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot larger sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures.
Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZs, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
