Comparison review

The Motorola Moto Z3 is a little bit better than Sony Xperia Z1, with a general score of 77.6 against 71.5. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Motorola Moto Z3 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.2. Motorola Moto Z3's body is a lot newer, a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner than the Sony Xperia Z1.

Moto Z3 features just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and more cores. Sony Xperia Z1 has a sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z3, because although it has a little worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher pixel count per inch in the display.

The Motorola Moto Z3 features a much greater memory to install games and applications than Xperia Z1, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia Z1 and Moto Z3 count with really similar battery durations. Moto Z3 counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has a much less mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a way smaller sensor which offers a lot worse image and video quality, and they both have a F2 aperture, the Moto Z3 also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video definition.

Moto Z3 not only is the best phones of the ones we compare here, but it's also cheap compared to the Xperia Z1, making it easy to pick between these phones.
