Samsung Galaxy S4 has a score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than the Xperia Z1's 71.5 global score. Samsung Galaxy S4 is a just a bit thinner and way lighter phone than Xperia Z1, even though they were released only 6 months apart. Both phones in this review use the same Android 4.4.2 OS. The Sony Xperia Z1 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy S4, and although they both have 4 processing cores and 2 GB of RAM, the Sony Xperia Z1 also has a much better GPU.
Xperia Z1 and Galaxy S4 feature similar displays, they have a screen of the same size, a better pixel amount per inch of display and the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z1, although it has a lower (Full HD) video definition, a way smaller sensor shooting way lower quality videos and pictures, a tinier aperture and a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S4 has as much memory capacity to store more games and applications as the Xperia Z1, they have equal 16 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. Sony Xperia Z1 has just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S4, because it has a 15% more battery size.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy S4 is also a bargain compared to others.
