Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a bit better than the Xperia Z1, with a 78.1 score against 71.5. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a newer device, and it's also just a bit thinner and lighter than Xperia Z1. Both of these phones work with the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect.

Xperia Z1 and Galaxy S5 Plus feature really similar screens, because although the Galaxy S5 Plus has a quite worse screen pixels density, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z1, and although they both have exactly the same 16 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia Z1, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and a Quad-Core CPU, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has a better GPU working at 500 megahertz. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much better camera than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution camera, a tinier camera sensor taking less light and washed colors and a tinier aperture which is not good for taking photos and videos in low light situations, it also counts with a way higher video quality.

The Xperia Z1 features a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
