These devices use Android OS, but LG V10 has a newer 5.1 version while Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.2, so it gives you lots of additional features. LG V10's design is newer, but somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than Sony Xperia Z1.

The LG V10 counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory. LG V10's battery performance is just as good as the battery lifetime in Xperia Z1. The LG V10 captures much better photographs and videos than Xperia Z1, because although it has a back facing camera with much less MP and a tinier back-facing camera sensor, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low light photography and videos and a way higher video resolution.
