The Galaxy S4 is a little bit better than Xperia Z1, getting a 76.1 score against 71.5. These phones use the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so both of them should give identical operating system features. Even when the Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z1 were only released 6 months apart, the Galaxy S4 is just a bit thinner and incredibly lighter.
Xperia Z1 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core CPU, the Xperia Z1 also has a faster graphics co-processor running at 450 megahertz. The Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z1 both have quite similar displays, they have a display of the same size, the same screen density and an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Galaxy S4 captures a little bit better videos and photos than Sony Xperia Z1, although it has a lot tinier camera sensor which gives a lot lower photo and video quality, a smaller aperture, a much less megapixels back-facing camera and a worse (Full HD) video quality. Samsung Galaxy S4's storage to store more games and applications is very similar to Sony Xperia Z1's one, both of them have the same internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits up to 64 GB.
Xperia Z1 has just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S4, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
The Galaxy S4 is not only the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a lot cheaper, making this phone a no doubt choice.
