LG V40 ThinQ is better than the Sony Xperia Z1, with a global score of 81.2 against 71.5. The LG V40 ThinQ is a much newer phone, and it's also just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than the Sony Xperia Z1. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but the LG V40 ThinQ has an older 10 version while Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.2.

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and more CPU cores. The Sony Xperia Z1 has a little more vivid display than LG V40 ThinQ, although it has a way smaller screen, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a just a little inferior pixels number in each screen inch.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z1, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and 48 GB more internal memory. LG V40 ThinQ counts with a little better battery lifetime than Xperia Z1, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.

The LG V40 ThinQ shoots much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has a much lower resolution back-facing camera and a tinier back camera sensor taking worse quality pictures and videos, it also counts with a lot bigger aperture and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

The LG V40 ThinQ costs a bit more than Xperia Z1, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
