Comparison review

Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 77.7, which is a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z1's general score of 71.5. Galaxy S5's construction is newer, a little bit thinner and lighter than the Sony Xperia Z1. Both devices we are comparing here come with the same Android 4.4.2 OS (operating system), so they should count with very similar operating system features.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 and Xperia Z1 both count with extremely similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has a just a little worse quantity of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a quite better 1920 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Galaxy S5 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z1, and although they both have 4 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount, the Galaxy S5 also has a much better GPU working at 500 megahertz.

The Galaxy S5 has just a bit more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z1, and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy S5 captures better photographs and videos than Xperia Z1, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor shooting worse quality pictures and videos, a smaller aperture and a back facing camera with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a much better (4K) video quality.

Sony Xperia Z1 features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy S5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.

Galaxy S5 is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to others.
