Sony Xperia Z3 has a general score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z1's 71.5 overall score. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z3 has newer 4.4.4 version and Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.2. The Sony Xperia Z3 is a newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and thinner than Sony Xperia Z1.

The Xperia Z3 features just a bit better display than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has a little less pixels per display inch, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Xperia Z3 also counts with a little bigger screen. Sony Xperia Z3 has just a little better processing power than Sony Xperia Z1, and although they both have a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor and 4 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Z3 counts with a better camera than Xperia Z1, and although they both have the same aperture, a 0.43 inches back camera sensor and a back camera with a 20.7 mega pixels resolution, the Sony Xperia Z3 also has a lot better (4K) video resolution.

Xperia Z3 features just a bit longer battery performance than Xperia Z1, because it has a 3 percent bigger battery size.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Xperia Z3 is also a bit cheaper, making this phone a very good choice.
