Motorola Moto Z3 has a general score of 77.6, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z1's global score of 72.8. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Moto Z3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4 version. Motorola Moto Z3 is a way newer cellphone, and it is also notably thinner and just a little lighter than the Xperia Z1.

Moto Z3 counts with a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with more RAM memory and a higher number of cores. Xperia Z1 features a more vivid screen than Moto Z3, because although it has a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
