Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 4 has a global score of 81.6, which is better than Sony Xperia Z1's 72.8 score. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 4 has a more recent 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4 version. Although the Galaxy Note 4 is a bit heavier than the Sony Xperia Z1, it's just a bit thinner and also newer.
The Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little sharper display than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, a bit bigger display and a just a little higher number of pixels in each screen inch. The Galaxy Note 4 features a bit better performance than Xperia Z1, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 4 also has 1 GB more RAM and a better GPU.
Galaxy Note 4 features a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z1, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note 4 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has 3220mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Galaxy Note 4 shoots much better videos and photos than Xperia Z1, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing worse quality images, a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting pictures in poorly lited situations and a much lower resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a little more expensive than Sony Xperia Z1, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
