Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge has an overall score of 81.7, which is better than Xperia Z1's score of 72.8. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note Edge has the newer 5.0 version and Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4, providing you a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Note Edge construction is newer and a little thinner than the Xperia Z1's, although it is a bit heavier.

Galaxy Note Edge has just a bit better screen than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a bit higher pixels amount in each inch of screen, a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a quite bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit better performance than Sony Xperia Z1, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a better 500 megahertz GPU.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a slightly bigger storage to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z1, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 128 GB. Galaxy Note Edge's battery performance is just as good as the battery lifetime in Sony Xperia Z1.

Galaxy Note Edge has a better camera than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor providing a worse image quality, a back facing camera with much less MP resolution and a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for taking images in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot better video quality.

Galaxy Note Edge costs a little more money than Sony Xperia Z1, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
