Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note4 has a general score of 77.6, which is a little bit better than the Xperia Z1's 72.8 general score. Samsung Galaxy Note4's construction is newer and just a little bit thinner, but just a little heavier than the Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1 has a little sharper display than Galaxy Note4, although it has a little smaller screen, a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a just a little lower pixels count in each inch of display.

The Xperia Z1 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy Note4, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a GPU. The Galaxy Note4 counts with a bit bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xperia Z1, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Galaxy Note4 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Note4 has a superior camera than Xperia Z1, because although it has a tinier sensor offering a worse image quality, a way less MP camera and a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for shooting images or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video resolution.

Galaxy Note4 has just a bit longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a 7 percent greater battery capacity.
