Comparison review
Galaxy S6 Active is much better than Sony Xperia Z1, getting an 80.9 score against 72.8. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 Active has the newer 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4. The Galaxy S6 Active design is much lighter but just a bit thicker than Sony Xperia Z1.
Galaxy S6 Active has just a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a quite larger display, a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a higher pixels density. The Xperia Z1 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Both have the same 32 GB internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features just a bit better processing power than Xperia Z1, because it has a 64-bit processor, a faster graphics processor working at 650 megahertz, more cores and a higher amount of RAM. Xperia Z1 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy S6 Active, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z1 also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega-pixels and a larger camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality.
Galaxy S6 Active counts with just a bit better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Galaxy S6 Active costs a little more than the Sony Xperia Z1, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
