Galaxy S6 Active is much better than Sony Xperia Z1, getting an 80.9 score against 72.8. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S6 Active has the newer 5.0 version and Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4. The Galaxy S6 Active costs a little more than the Sony Xperia Z1, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
