Samsung Galaxy S7 has a bit sharper display than Xperia Z1, because it has a bit larger display, a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a better pixel density.
The Xperia Z1 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z1 also counts with an additional GPU.
