Galaxy S9 has a general score of 83.3, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z1's overall score of 72.8. The Galaxy S9 design is way newer and just a bit thinner than Sony Xperia Z1's, but it's a little bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a little better processing power than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM and a higher number of cores.
Xperia Z1 counts with a bit better display than Galaxy S9, although it has a little smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite worse screen pixel density. Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
Galaxy S9's battery duration is just as good as the battery life in Sony Xperia Z1. The Samsung Galaxy S9 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia Z1, because although it has a way lower resolution back-facing camera and a smaller back camera sensor, it also counts with a way larger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a way higher video definition.
Galaxy S9 is not only the best devices of the ones in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other devices, making this phone a great choice.
