Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is a lot better than the Xperia Z1's 72.8 global score. Although the Xperia 5 III is a little heavier than Xperia Z1, it's just a little thinner and also noticeably newer. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia 5 III has 11 version and Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4 version.

The Sony Xperia Z1 features a little bit better looking screen than Xperia 5 III, although it has a little smaller screen, a just a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the display and a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has more internal storage and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.

Sony Xperia 5 III counts with a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia Z1, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 5 III counts with a very superior battery performance than Xperia Z1, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
