Xiaomi 12 Pro has a general score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z1's overall score of 72.8. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi 12 Pro has older 12 version and Sony Xperia Z1 has Android 4.4.4 version. Even though Xiaomi 12 Pro is heavier than the Sony Xperia Z1, it's a little bit thinner and much newer.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has just a bit better looking display than Xperia Z1, because it has a way better resolution of 1440 x 3200px, a much bigger display and a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Xperia Z1 features a very superior hardware performance than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
Xiaomi 12 Pro has a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal memory. Xiaomi 12 Pro features a much longer battery performance than Xperia Z1, because it has a 53 percent bigger battery capacity.
Xiaomi 12 Pro captures much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z1, because it has a larger diafragm aperture for better captures in low light situations, a much larger sensor which offers a way higher image and video quality, a lot higher video resolution and a camera with a much better resolution.
